Twitter/@ThisIsMachadoTexas and Texas A&M haven’t met on the gridiron since 2011, but it certainly seems like Longhorns head coach Charlie Strong is open to the idea of resuming the series. Friday, according to OrangeBlood’s Anwar Richardson, Strong, at the Touchdown Club of Houston, said that Texas is “trying” to work something out with its old rival. Richardson is also reporting, however, that Texas itself says no specifics have been discussed.
